Ministry of Salads, Breach Candy, Mumbai!
For all those who closely follow my blog, my instagram handle and my snapchat stories definitely know for a fact that I am in love with desserts and that there is something about them that keeps on taking me to them again and again!
When Ministry of Salads approached me to experience their food, I definitely was a little hesitant!
So here we were, on a Sunday afternoon, at Ministry of Salads and as Soumyaa was busy looking at all the fresh ingredients with an expression of seeing something totally new, the only thing I said to myself was What On Earth Am I Doing Here?
But hey, never judge a book by its cover is what we have always been taught, haven’t we?
What We Had:
Pineapple, Beetroot and Carrot and the Nutella and Hazelnut Smoothie: While Soumyaa ordered the PBC, I opted for the nutella and hazelnut smoothie for I was hesitant to have the PBC; and guess what happened, I gobbled down both of them literally! With a start like this, I was sure this place is definitely going to change my outlook towards healthy food!
My DIY Salad: Iceberg+Soba Noodles+Bell Peppers+Baby Potato+Carrots+Chickpeas+Spring Onions+Sliced Tomatoes+Peri Peri Paneer+Chipotle Ranch. Most of my favourite things in a bowl, this salad was delicious and heavy, to say the least (maybe, I felt that way because of what I drank before this) and I could not clean out my bowl!
Thai Crunch: A hot seller from the regular menu, the Thai Crunch is a salad that should be the first thing you should be having if you aren’t into salads, for this is definitely a deal breaker and converts you into a salad lover!
We also had an assortment of dips (and I fell in love with the beetroot hummus they have to offer) and a wrap that somehow did not interest me (maybe because I was too full!!!!)
For a no-salad eater like me, Ministry of Salads is a very welcome change and also a teeny weeny step towards (hopefully) leading a healthy lifestyle!
